Tiersa Dennis


An accomplished production executive with over 20 years of experience, having managed at all levels, and in all phases, of production – from indie films to animated series work. 

She got her start at Disney-MGM Studios, where she stayed for over a decade in various management and producing roles.  The projects Tiersa produced and managed ranged from PSAs to national commercials to TV series work and everything in between.  In the management seat she served as Manager of Operations for the post production arm of Disney, Disney i.d.e.a.s.  Responsible for day-to-day operations, all client interface, budgets, growth and development of operations staff for this full service post production facility.

Taking a two-year “intermission” from Disney, Tiersa went to work for Turner Broadcasting where she served as Senior Production Manager.  Her assignments included the Nagano Olympics, and the 1998 Goodwill Games, among others.

After leaving Disney, she spent three years as the Director of Production for Toonz Animation India, an international animation studio.  Tiersa headed all Production, HR and Digital Production, as well as coordinating marketing initiatives for a staff of more than 450 people.  During this run, she served as producer on, ‘The Adventures of Tenali Raman’, a 26-episode animated series and also served as the Festival Director of the International Animation Festival – Week with the Masters.

The next stop for Tiersa was Rochester, NY where she was the Director of Production/Post Production Services for Post Central Inc., a script-to-screen production services company overseeing the planning, scheduling and estimates for all Production and Post Production clients. Tiersa served as a producer for the indie Cherry Crush for Post Central Entertainment prior to joining them full time.

Currently, Tiersa is a freelance producer based out of Rochester, NY.
