Career Experience

l  Present: President and CEO, Gladstone Film, Inc., an animation production, consulting
    and training firm with clients worldwide.
l  Recent Activities: Director in development, The Hero of Color City, Exodus Film 
    Group. Screenplay and production consultation  (as Executive Producer) for Image  
    Entertainment, Canada. Design and implementation of Storyboard Training
    Program for Aardman Animation and SW Screen, UK. Visual Language and Story
    Structure presentations for Lucasfilm/ILM and Cartoon Network. Film genre
    presentations for Lucasarts. Long term, on-location studio consulting and
    animation training programs for Imagi Animation, Hong Kong. Visual Effects
    Society “Future of Character Animation”, “Working Overseas”, “Career
    Strategies” and “Visual Storytelling” presentations as well as authoring the
    ‘animation fundamentals’ chapter for the VES handbook. Autodesk Professional
    Excellence Program. SIGGRAPH presentations and SIGGRAPH 2010 Board of
    Directors. Continued classes on animation, filmmaking and story structure for

l  Vice President, Artistic Development, STARZ Feature Animation (formerly
    IDT Entertainment Animation). Responsible for artistic talent recruiting and
    training, evaluating animated projects to be considered for feature-length
    production, creative development and production consultation, acquisition of
    independent projects for theatrical and home video distribution, studio
    presentations and public outreach.

l  Head of Artistic Development, DreamWorks Animation. Responsible for all artistic
    training issues, enrichment and outreach activities at the studio. Credits include The
    Road to El Dorado, Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron, Sinbad and Shark Tale.
    Additionally, instrumental in bringing independent animated projects such as
    Millennium Actress, Ghost in the Shell II and Casshern to DreamWorks for co-funding
    and distribution under the studios’ Go Fish banner.

l  Original Producer for Warner Bros.’ first animated feature, Quest for Camelot and    
    Producer in Development, Warner Bros. Feature Animation.

l  Manager of Training, Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida. Responsibilities
    included recruitment, training and skills evaluation for all phases of animation.
    Designed and implemented training curriculums for all animation disciplines. Feature
    films included, Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King and
    Pocahontas. Promoted to Training Director, responsible for Disney Feature Animation 
    recruitment and animation education, worldwide.

l  Creative Director and Animation Supervisor, Limelite Studios. Responsible for design    
    and execution of animated films and effects for studio clients as well as developing   
    projects for the studio’s independent production division.

l  Owner/President, Persistence of Vision, Inc., a full service animation studio
    specializing  in advertising and educational films. Responsibilities included sales,
    project design, direction, all phases of art production and post-production. Animation
    for companies such as Nickelodeon, J.C. Penney, AT&T, American Film Institute,
    United States Committee on Drug Abuse Prevention, Armed Forces Radio and
    Television, State of Florida, Learning Corporation of America, Proctor and Gamble,
    Sun Oil Company, Government of Venezuela, Federated Stores, Monsanto and
    numerous regional businesses and individuals.

l   Animator, Associated Filmmakers International.
l   Cartoonist, University of Florida’s Alligator, campus daily newspaper.
